Neasden and Willesden houses often have the router in a downstairs hall cupboard: fine for one phone, useless for a loft office. We walk the rooms with a signal check, move the router if we can, or spec a small mesh that actually talks to your ISP box.
The Halloween-sale audit is £75 (was £95): survey, signal notes, and a written recommendation. Hardware is extra and optional. Many jobs end with a better channel, a firmware update and the extender you already own placed somewhere sensible.
