Apple will not always look at an older MacBook. We will. Typical London jobs: a Mac that crawls because the SSD is full of Photos library, a butterfly-era keyboard that double-types, a swollen battery, or a family iMac that never got the data off before someone bought a new one.
We are not an authorised Apple Store. If the machine is in warranty or AppleCare, we will tell you to use them. If it is not, we quote a practical repair or a migration to a new Mac for a fixed Halloween-sale price of £120 (was £150).
Logic-board level microsoldering is not a kitchen-table job. If that is what you need, we say so instead of taking the machine and going quiet.
